The Forgottens

The play, "The Forgottens" gives us an opportunity to reflect on a time when our ancestors faced many challenges with respect to their rights to vote. In this play we will hear and see from the perspective of these progressive Negro women their depiction of the suffrage moment and their plight for equality and voting rights. Even though as a society we've seen great progress with regards to racism; we still have long ways to go because Black people in American continue to experience systemic racism and discrimination.
